Wow, where to begin, I guess its best at the beginning. I am a sixty five year old women and diabetic. My sugar levels kept rising and were really starting to get out of control. I knew it was time to really get serious and take control of my health. I started working out with Theresa in July 2011. In the beginning I couldn’t do a proper squat without shaking, only could hold in plank position for 15 seconds and my coordination and balance were non-existent.
Now seven months later I can do fifty consecutive squats properly, balance on an upside down single-footed on a BOSU ball doing squats with weights no less; do what Theresa call a beautiful swan (single legged); hold plank for three minutes and seventeen seconds. My brain function, coordination and balance has improved significantly besides just darn feeling better.
My last visit to my doctor proved that with eating right and the exercising I’ve done with Theresa’s help has gotten my blood sugars almost back to normal beside getting off one of my blood pressure medications, and I’ve lost over 15 1/2 inches off my body so far. My goal is to get off most the medications and live a long healthy life.
Theresa not only has helped my get my body into better shape. She works at your body’s pace and around any painful areas that may arise while still accomplishing the targeted exercise.
She is a caring professional and a wonderful human being, that is why I call her my friend as well.
